A. Our all-inclusive package encompasses every element of your English countryside experience, with the exception of international airfare. From the moment you arrive, we handle all arrangements seamlessly.

Included in your package:

Airport transfers – Private chauffeur service from any airport within three hours of the cottage (typically Heathrow or Gatwick), or from a nearby hotel if you choose to arrive the day prior

Luxury accommodations with premium amenities

Private chef services – All meals, beverages, and refreshments throughout your stay

Private driver and vehicle – Including all fuel, tolls, and parking fees

Curated excursions and activities – All entrance fees and tickets included

Spa and wellness treatments – Massage therapies as specified in your package

Dining experiences – Reservations and experiences at select restaurants

Special touches – Fresh flowers, newspapers, and personalized requests

The only occasion when additional fees may apply is for special requests of exceptionally high value. Should this occur, we will consult with you in advance, and any supplementary costs are always assessed individually and transparently.

Our philosophy is simple: once you’ve booked, everything is taken care of, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the experience without concern
for logistics or unexpected expenses.

English Cottage Vacation is designed as a complete, all-inclusive experience where all elements work together seamlessly. We don’t offer à la carte options or the ability to exclude specific services.

Why We Don’t Offer Partial Packages:
Our pricing reflects the comprehensive nature of the experience—Nathan’s expert driving and guiding, Laura’s gourmet cooking, the curated excursions, and the seamless coordination of every detail. These elements are integrated into a cohesive whole, and removing one component doesn’t proportionally reduce costs or improve the experience.

The Value of the Full Experience:
Part of what makes English Cottage Vacation special is that you don’t have to think about anything. You won’t navigate unfamiliar roads, plan meals, research restaurants, or coordinate logistics. This complete freedom is central to the experience we provide.

If You Prefer More Independence:
If you’d like to drive yourself, cook your own meals, or handle certain aspects independently, a traditional vacation rental or self-catering accommodation might be a better fit for your needs. English Cottage Vacation is specifically designed for guests who want a fully hosted, entirely seamless luxury experience.

Our Commitment:
We’ve designed every element of English Cottage Vacation to work together, creating an experience greater than the sum of its parts. We believe you’ll find tremendous value in allowing us to handle everything while you simply enjoy your English countryside escape.

All beverages are included throughout your stay at English Cottage Vacation, ensuring you’re never without your preferred drink.

What’s included:
Hot beverages – Freshly brewed coffee, premium teas, hot chocolate
Soft drinks – A selection of sodas, juices, and sparkling water
Alcoholic beverages – Beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails
Specialty drinks – Crafted cocktails, Pimm’s Cup, gin and tonics, and other English favorites
Premium champagne – Two bottles of top-shelf champagne included as standard

Nathan acts as your bartender and sommelier, mixing cocktails to your preference throughout the day—whether that’s a refreshing G&T in the garden, a pre-dinner aperitif, or evening nightcaps. The bar is stocked with quality spirits, and Nathan is skilled at creating both classic cocktails and custom drinks based on your tastes.

Wine is served with dinner, carefully selected to complement Laura’s menu. If you have particular wine preferences or favorite varietals, let us know in advance and we’ll ensure they’re available. Wine will also be available for your picnics each day—perhaps a nice light, crisp rosé or even some bubbles, i.e., Prosecco.

Additional top-shelf items: Further top-shelf champagne or other premium spirits beyond what’s included may incur an additional charge. We’ll always consult with you in advance about any extra costs.

Simply request whatever you’d like to drink at any time, and it will be provided. There are no limits on standard beverages, no surprise charges—just the freedom to enjoy your favorite drinks throughout your vacation.

The beauty of your English Cottage Vacation is that activities and excursions included depend on which itinerary option you choose.

Set Itineraries:
Set Itineraries follow a pre-planned, fixed program of carefully selected experiences designed to showcase the best of England. There is a set list of activities for each Set Itinerary, and these cannot be changed. The schedule is predetermined and confirmed on booking. This is why Set Itineraries are priced more accessibly—you know exactly what you’re getting from the moment you book.

Tailor-Made Itineraries:
Activities are NOT limited to a specific list. Your Tailor-Made itinerary is fully customizable and based entirely around your interests. After booking (i.e., paying the deposit), we begin the discovery process and the planning of your itinerary, which is then confirmed prior to your arrival.

Itinerary Flexibility During Your Stay:

For Tailor-Made itineraries, small changes can be made at your request and at the discretion of Nathan and Laura during your stay. This flexibility is particularly valuable when working around weather conditions or if you discover something you’d prefer to experience instead.

Understanding Our All-Inclusive Philosophy:
While we pride ourselves on being all-inclusive with no limits, there is, of course, always a limit in life. We want to be transparent about the rare occasions when additional costs may apply:

When Surcharges May Apply (Tailor-Made Itineraries Only):

1. Exceptionally Expensive Requests:
In the very rare occasion that a particularly expensive activity or excursion is requested—at any time during the discovery process, planning process, or during your actual stay—we will be open with you about whether it can be included within your all-inclusive package. Each request is judged on an individual basis, taking into account the overall balance and cost of your entire week’s itinerary. What might require a surcharge in one context could be perfectly included in another, depending on what else you’re doing throughout the week. If a surcharge is necessary, this will always be communicated very openly and clearly before any booking or confirmation, so you can decide whether to proceed.

2. Swapping Pre-Booked Excursions During Your Stay:
If, during your stay, you request to swap an already pre-booked excursion with a similar or substantially more expensive excursion or activity, there may be a surcharge to cover the additional cost.

We believe in complete transparency—if there’s an additional cost for any reason, you’ll know about it upfront, and the choice will always be yours.

What’s Always Included:
Regardless of which itinerary type you choose, all planned excursions include Nathan’s expert guiding, entrance tickets, transportation, and any meals during the day.
